Monday, on my way to workout, my check engine light came on. So when I got to the gym I left the car running and check my transmission fluid and whatnot. All looked good. In Germany we say that "Honda" stands for "Heute ohne nennenswerte Defekte angekommen" (Arrived without any noteworthy defects today).

The gas cap was the first thing that came to mind when I read the begining of your post. It happened on my dad's Santa Fe like a week after he got it.. and it happened on my other Civic.

I hope that things turn around for you soon. When are we gonna see pictures of the completed eye?

I have rolls that still need to be developed (going back as far as February!). I'm so bad about that.

I'm a flat foot myself. I was having heel problems also and my doctor gave me exercises to basically stretch my achillies tendons. As long as I do the exercises I don't get the pains anymore and I don't need the shoe orthotics.

Can't hurt to try the stretches.

I stretch before I workout. I should prolly stretch every morning when I wake up.
