Birthday and bitching

Tomorrow is my thirtieth birthday. I still don't know what I'm going to do to celebrate. I wanted to do something big. I mean it is my 30th. I wanted to have a midnight/cosmic bowling party, but with my back I don't think it's too good an idea. Tonight mkelley, Nora and I and maybe some of their co-workers are going to karaoke. I want to go early

I recently hurt my back...well, it hurt itself...all I did was step out of my car and it got me.
I had to lay in bed for a week and I had therapy for several weeks. I hope you feel better.

Your husband sounds kinda like mine. My man is a flannel shirt and jeans guy. He's very handsome, but looks amazing dressed nicely. Right now he is into wearing his Bass belt buckle (a big gold buckle with a fish on it). He loves it!

I don't think you would be "using or abusing" the system if you went on unemployment for a couple months. Geez, you were in a cra wreck!! By the sounds of things you are a super responsible person when it comes to money and working hard for the things you have, so I think you deserve it!! I am a big fan of hard working people. I have some sort of deep seeded (Don't want to say hatred, seems to harsh), dislike for people who live off of their Husbands money. I am a huge supporter of independant woman. Sounds like your one of those strong gals! :)

I know all about wanting to go way overboard on people at Christmas, I do it too. Peter shakes his haed at me....I just love it though. :)

Well, it's a good idea to vent and let it out. Even if there isn't much I can offer in the way of a quick fix, I like to try to understand. That's what I'm here for!! :)
