Tuesday morning odds and ends

Why isn't purnima_fic *active*? I cannot figure out why the community is basically dead after a few posts. You'd think creating a comm for South Asian character fic would result in people posting South Asian character fic. Am I missing something? Should I be posting over there every day, trying to encourage discussion?

Lux had a group of fellow precocious ragamuffin teens that had fueled her desire for emancipation.

I LOL'd when I saw that. Especially when her best friend had artfully curled hair and smudged makeup. I didn't know girls homes had salons on premise.
