oh man. don't i love when random people who don't know anything about me or my mother's business bash us like there's no tomorrow. god, if they don't like the fucking shows, why do we even put them on? it doesn't help us at all, and every one who goes just complains all the time. so fuck that! honestly, i'm not doing the shows for me, do they think ( Read more... )

that's true, and i agree with you, but i don't book the shows.
my mom just owns the bar.

I would def never put on a show. . . too many people whining . . . Anyway, when someone starts putting on shows for $5 admissiong, let me know, I've given up on the scene because its too expensive. Luckily, I don't have to pay to get into Olives, bc Monica is my homeslice, BUT every other show is just as expensive. It makes it hard for the bands and for the scenesters. As a band, no fans are willing to pay a lot for a show, and as a show-goer, I am not willing to pay! So. . . what ever happened to $4 shows?
