After we tied in to town water last year, I figured the well could be used for outdoor watering and garden irrigation, depending on its condition, of course. The static water level is near its original 10’ from the cap, back from not being visible at all last autumn. Thank goodness for push-to-connect fittings!

Is it your dishwasher? The line on mine decided to pop off one day.... messy! And the washing machine? I've gone through so many water pumps on those Whirlpools, but at least they clip in place.

Wow... sorry to hear about the known steady failure on the Whirlpool.. I'd expect better from them.. ;P

Not to be cliche, but I prefer these dependable old Maytags (for washers and dryers) ... Right now I've settled for a G.E. and it's ok.. the problem is not with the washer, but with the plumbing in the wall... eeeeep...

The water pumps would last about five years on the Whirlpool washers. Our original Maytag washer died at eleven years when the motor went. Both brands are the same company, but yes, I prefer Maytag.

Plumbing is tricky. One has to know when to call in a professional!

Now that is what I call plumbing skills! If I tried anything like that, the house would end up the way the "missing LaRue" did in the movie "Mousehunt"!
