I tend to like seperate fandom kink memes and the Porn Battle better, because they don't require signing up, but now that I've taken a closer look, this is tempting. I don't want to hog the Heero/Relena claim because every time I've tried to write a 1xR lemon (or even merely lime) in the past has been a failure, but let's give this a go. :)

I like these more because they set deadlines and I need that kind of structure, the limit is that a prompt can only be claimed up to 3 times, and I actually think I was the third to claim the 1xR prompt for fic so it might not be available now, but if you are interested in other fandom prompts there are tons more then just what I have here.

I do support checking out fic that has already been written for it, because it has been going for a while.

Porn Battle has deadlines. Fic submissions are open a week or so each Battle, but people can keep an eye on the prompt submission posts beforehand and start writing earlier. I just don't like getting people's hopes up without ultimately delivering fic.

I've been collecting interesting prompts from my fandoms too. ^_^ Not signing up yet, I'll just see whether any of the bunnies will come out and whenever possible make a claim when I'm done. I read in a comment in the mini-FAQ that claiming is open until the day before the prompt is due, so no rush.

Last time I refreshed the page 1xR had two claims from strangers, so I guess it's full now. Not that I'm complaining! Yay for OTP popularity! :D

Yeah, but I like the incentive of having to get this done for someone, it keeps me from being lazy.

I started by mainly looking through fandoms that I was conceivably interested in.

I think part of it also was that it was a good prompt, very easy and not to vague or specific.
