Wild kiwi road trip

Two weeks ago, we were visited by old friends from the dear city of Bangalore, a travel-crazy couple who'd give the travel bug a run for his money. So, off we set to pin flags on the insanely beautiful wildscape, and the adventure powerhouse, that is New Zealand.

Your two-weeks sound absolutely phenomenal. I spent two days in Tioman and have been hung over for five days now. Cannot even begin to imagine how long you will live in the memories of these weeks. Luge sounds like a lot of fun; my experience of it is limited to Sentosa. :p

Talking of underwater life, well I snorkeled and dove for the first time in my life and cannot believe I wasted 30 years without a glimpse of something so amazing.

And now, kudos to you for making this post. Keep it up. :)

phenomenal is *the* word! :)I'm still reeling with adventure 4 days into office. Tioman is a fantastic snorkeling/ diving site too. You couldn't have started at a better place! :) I'm seriously considering a full-on swimming + diving training after this holiday. Someday, we'll dive together in SE Asia then. :)

It was awesome from start to finish. And even though I doubted my fitness level at first (years of sedentary jobs can do that!), I'm really pleased I pulled it together. :)

Undoubtedly, the best trip of our lifetimes.. so far! :D do give me a heads-up when you're planning your trip, I'm sure I can share lotsa info with you which we may or may not have have used in our own adventures. And it would be totally awesome to meet you again! :) Pictures will be processed over the weekend as you can imagine, there are a ton of those and right now the lappy's dealing rather badly with all the size issues. :(
