Ben had noticed something about the calendar today, and it was too good not to share. So he put the finishing touches on the squishy machine he'd been making for Jamie, then picked up his comlink and called home

"Hello, Ben," Jamie said seriously from the door. "I'm afraid it is that time."

Ben recognized the Force-impression, but not the face. "...Jamie?"

"Yes. It is I. Jamie Madrox," said stepping into the room. "And today is the day I must leave. Is it ready?"

Ben nodded. "Any reason you sound like a droid today?" he asked, reaching for the portable machine.

Tahiri had stopped down the hall to wash up after spending some time scavenging in the junkyard, but there was still a smudge of dirt on her cheek when she poked her head in.

"Tell me you noticed what the calendar says it is," she said, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

"May the fourth be with you!" he said, giggling.

"I knew you would." Tahiri leaned against the doorframe and just watched him for a moment, smiling.

"I called Dad, too," he said, grinning up at her.
