One official-looking letter sent and three weeks of waiting later, I have had my old (I'm sure 20+ year), rickety and beige-and-brown stove removed and replaced with something sleek, sexy, white, and totally new. Dude. Totally. Makes you long for the heady, stress-free shifts where you have to just roll up those little towels that they keep in the baskets in the washrooms.

It's too bad that I didn't even notice that we were drinking out of swishy stemware!

man, i need wine glasses. right now my options are neon green plastic or so tiny it's not much more than a shot.

Did you see the smaller ones that I have? I got them at Canadian Tire, of all places. They're crystal, though, and I think they were fifteen bucks for four which is great.

Neon green plastic is perfect for drinking white wine on the patio, though! Not that you can do that for much longer, but I digress.
