Another A-kon has come and gone. I did really well this year, selling ten pictures in the art show. Mind, I did spend way too much on Copic markers but the price was too good to pass up and I got a lot of new colors

Yep, the escalator situation sounds about right. Sorry, but when it comes to things I'd rather do than deal with an A-Kon, I have a really long and enthusiastic list.

Yeah, I used to enjoy A-kon a lot more. Now I just go to visit with friends and browse the dealer's room. It's too loud and too crowded to be comfortable any more.

I tried to keep an eye out for ya, though as you pointed out it was often a mob scene. (I even peeked into one of the Coptic marker demos to see if you were about.)
