What a fascinating, heartbreaking AU. Mary's fierce protectiveness is awesome, and I adore when she storms in to save Dean, and how she just crushes him to her chest and the blood on her nightgown echoing the pilot! I would so read more of this! I'm intrigued!

Thank you! I only just now made the connection to the pilot, but I knew the imagery fit for some reason. XP I definitely plan on doing more; I just need to work out the details of how the SPNverse would be different with Mary heading. :)
