And the look of confusion on his face isn't making him look any less goofy right now. [The Master could sense him the moment he arrived. In his mind, and even his scent. It was almost jarring, but the most pleasant surprise that he could think of. He's grinning almost wildly now, standing in the rain, not even caring about getting his favorite suit soaked through. He'd fired off the coordinates to the Doctor along with a name he hadn't used in a very long time.

Now, he waited. Patience.

Better make sure that his fellow Time Lord knew where he was going, just in case. The Master picks up a pipe lying around nearby before glancing around. It's not long until he spots a large, metal storage drum laying on the ground. He picks it up, sets it upright, and gives it a look before banging it with the pipe.

One, two, three, four.

Again.

One. Two. Three. Four. One, two, three, four, onetwothreefour.]

[He was taking his time. Better to not go rushing in with a message like that being the first thing to reach him here. The urge to start running increases when he hears the banging.

So the Master was here too... which only made things more confusing, considering where he should be.

Oh, that's nothing I haven't dealt with before. And I'm sure they'd be a bit more agreeable with someone who can offer advice on fixing this predicament we're in.

And that's good to hear, though I can't imagine that the situation is particularly good with the damage that this place must've caused.

3-D glasses!

Well, not standard 3-D glasses. They make it easier to tell what's passed through the Void.

[He whips them off his face, examining them critically.]

Though that means just about everyone and everything here, I'm afraid.

Yes, the Void. As in the space between the various parallel versions of the universe. Dangerous place, though the "stuff" is mostly benign. Good thing too, considering it sticks to everything that passes through there!
