Kate did seem rather giggly and more, dare I say girly in this one.

It's odd...I don't exactly like Kate, but I'd much rather see her with Sawyer than with Jack. Even though I do like Sawyer. Can't figure it out.

This might have been confusing if you hadn't seen the episode, but glad you liked it. :) I don't think Kate has officially decided if she's chasing Jack or Sawyer, though. She needs to choose.
