1) That Dr. Crane was entirely too cute, even after he started being evil and scary. And by that, I don't mean "I'm attracted to him," I mean "his features are too freakin' perfect and comic book villians are supposed to be at least hard-looking, if not totally fugly." He needs to be playing helpless damsels in superhero films, mmmkay.

2) Heath Ledger is still hot in that trailer. Possibly more so than usual.

3) What. The. Fuck. Is with the Oompa-Loompas? It looks like Burton gave them back their origin story, but then dressed them up like extras from a shitty rap video.

4) Also, Depp's Wonka looks and sounds like the love child of a gummi bear and Gene Wilder's Wonka. Which kinda rules.

5) Tom Cruise is a crackpot.

6) Orlando Bloom is not cute. :P

Do not speak to me of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory trailer. I love Depp and Burton, but the look of that one is freaking me the hell out.

THANK you. UGH. I read somewhere that people were wondering if Depp had based his Wonka on CrazyMichaelJackson and now there is NO WAY I will go watch that movie.

I saw CatCF tonight (hooray for free preview screenings!) and I can tell you it's good. The Oompa-Loompas are odd at first, but they work. And Depp is fantastic, as always.

I so want to read that Batman parody. *craves*

Don't be askeered! I saw CatCF about a month or so ago and it's fantastic! No, Johnny isn't Jack Sparrow sexy or Finding Neverland dreamy.

But he's his usual impeccable self. Go and enjoy!
