Thank you, all those who have answered so far, for your kind and honest answers. I've begun adjusting my userinfo accordingly, and will add/replace interests as they occur to me. Here are the points to keep in ( Read more... )

Oh, man. Star Wars would be so much more entertaining if Luke was replaced with Bertie Wooster. Can you imagine:

Darth Vader: Luke, I am your father.

Luke (as played by Bertram Wooster): Are you really? I say! What a remarkable turn of events! Does this mean Aunt Dahlia isn't my real aunt? What a cracking thought! Should we hug now, or shake hands...?

Darth Vader: ....

Luke (as played by Bertram Wooster): Quite right. We're British, and all that.

Hee.

LOL
Exactly. You see how much better this would be.

And in the cantina, the aliens, instead of fighting, would be playing badminton with dinner rolls...

Heh! No, I'll have to have a look at that... But I have read "The Code of the Brandybucks," by Mirabella. (FPS.) :)

Oh, spiffing!

I've been watching the Fry & Laurie versions recently (which has made for more than one brain-breaky Tuesday night!) and you've got the dialogue so spot-in I could hear it.

Thank you! That's a high compliment. Granted, it's such fun to imitate Jeeves & Wooster, my household has gotten a lot of practice.

*dies* I will never again look at Luke the same way. ;D

So... who would Han be in the Jeeves and Wooster world?

I doubt Han would fit very well in the J&W world. I could only cast him as one of Luke SkyWooster's irresponsible foppish friends, but that isn't quite right, of course.
