Broke Ass

Jan 09, 2008 23:05

I think I broke my ass last night rollerskating. Seriously. Has anyone ever had a cracked/bruised tail bone before? Besides taking heavy doses of OTC painkillers (which I am very hesitant to do) does anyone have any advice to ease the ache in my backside?

I know they have smaller-sized plastic ass donuts that people with bruised or broken tailbones can sit on. Find it kind of amusing, actually.

Glad your ass is better. Wish I could've joined you rollerskating - I haven't done that in ages.

Yeah, so i had a little "ass-spraining" incident when i was in FL for that pharmacy conference my last year of pharmacy school. I was t-rashed and had one foot on the pool ledge (the blue part that is kinda underwater) and one on the cement outside the pool. i turned to talk to someone pulling my foot out the water and when i went to put it back in on the ledge.... i missed and went straight into the water, landing my tailbone on the corner of the cement... the plane ride home was horrendous.. i needed a doughnut (one of those blow-up tubes) and my pain continued for the week after i got back. i finally went to the doctor and he said it wasn't broken, but i was having bone pain which is not well treated with the over-the-counter pain meds... and so, was my first experience with Percocet (oxycodone). it worked really well and i was high as a kite....didn't really give a shit what my ass felt like... good times. if it continues, go to the doc - you may have some fun times ahead :)

Thanks for the info girl! My butt is feeling much better 90$ of the time. Sitting in certain positions is still completely unacceptable, but each morning when I wake up it's improved, so no Percocet for me probably. :( Maybe next time. ;)
