Cocoa Crinkle Sandwiches

1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter - no substitutes
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 can frosting - I used Betty Crockers Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
Crushed Candy Canes

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.

So I plan to make these tomorrow and I'm wondering how long they keep for, any ideas or were yours gone the minute they hit the office???

The ones at home didn't get eaten very fast and they lasted just on a plate, wrapped in plastic wrap for 4 days or so.

Okay, I tried it. My cookies came out super flat, but otherwise I think they turned out okay.

I made them for a cookie potluck at work and on my way to work this morning I stopped at the grocery store to pickup a gift card. Whilst in the gift card area I see a cookbook, with what appears to be a picture of these cookies on the cover. It's then that I realize I am in no way close to be being a cook of any sort. My cookies look like the 5th grade Home Ec version. Oy!!

Oh I don't think so. I seem to remember you being able to bake a mean cherry pie! LOL

My cookies were pretty flat as well, but good nonetheless.
