I forgot, today makes 25 months in Japan.  I suppose if you counted the time in study abroad it would be more but then again I have taken some trips home which would make it less.... so let's just say 25 months.  Here's to another 11 months on my contract, and hopefully more time in Japan after that ( Read more... )

Actually, I think it's kind of useful to have the temperature at least on an alarm clock. That way you know what to wear.

True. I'm not sure, it might just tell me the temperature of my own apartment. Plus it's in Celsius and I'm not 100% used to that yet (but I'm getting better).

Ah, yeah that wouldn't be so useful.

Hello :)

You mentioned in your profile that you want to know when people add you, so I'll let you know now :)
I saw you at nihongo_only right now and read your comment there. I wanted to take 2kyuu as well, but was too scared and didn't apply in the end. I'm a teacher here in Japan, too. No ALT and thus no JET (was not possible anyway, I'm German .. blah). I'm an eikaiwa teacher.
I'm always interested in other people who live in Japan and read about their lives and adventures here :)
Add me back? (^-^)>

You can still apply for 2kyuu! Applications are due October 2nd.

Where in Japan do you live? I live in Fukushima prefecture.

I have a couple of friends from Germany :) but I've never been there. I'd like to go someday. Thinking about going next year.

Sure, let's be friends ^__^

I won't apply anyway, I'm not ready yet, I think :)

I live far far faaa~ar away from there! Even Tokyo is about 1000km away (-__-') I live close to Kyuushuu in Yamaguchi Prefecture :)
I once passed by Fukushima Prefecture when I was in Sendai, though. Looked like a very beautiful area :) (just cold in winter?!)

Great to hear that ^-^ Do you speak German (a little)? :)

Thanks ^-^/
