Yeah - people often say that they are busier in retirement than they ever were in full time work!
Not surprised that colleagues on both prosecution and defence leanings think highly of you. You are a straight-shooter, clever and articulate, and while I've never seen you in action, I am sure that you are determined, diligent and efficient in the courtroom.
Your life is about to begin - take it from one who has found life after retirement amazingly fulfilling. Will await your adventures with baited breath. Hope you have Dublin in 2012 firmly inked on your calendar.
What a shame about your course. Both authors are still in print in the UK thank goodness but I suspect the costs of purchase and postage from Amazon UK would be restrictive for some students.
