Congratulations on your retirement although the time since you told us of your intentions seemed to have passed with extraordinary rapidity!
It is definitely a shame about the change in syllabus. I am sure you have no need of any Dorothy Sayers but if you would like copies of the Ngaio Marsh's let me know. I am sure that they will be easier to find in NZ than almost any other place on earth.

Many congratulations. Although retirement was forced on me a couple of years earlier than planned, I don't regret it for one second. The past year + has been educational, enjoyable and stimulating. It's clear from the things you write that you don't define yourself totally by your job title, which, I think, is the problem many people have with retirement. I wish you a wonderfully rewarding and enjoyable time ahead!
