It's soooo good. Oh my god. The living room/dining room is just one long room, but we did the living room portion in light blue and the smaller dining room portion in a darker, richer hue of the same blue, and it was such a good idea. It looks so good! My dad was dead set against it and I had to pull the "It's MY apartment, I will do weird things if I want to" card, and he grudgingly agreed to help paint it that way, and now that he's seen the final look, he's totally sold. (This is what happens pretty much anytime I suggest a design decision to him, including for his house, and he always loves it after he just takes the leap of faith.) I may, at a later date, paint the bathroom some bright, fun colour. Maybe tropical pink. I think I will leave the bedroom white, though
