You will find her much altered.

I have no idea how I'd survive the winter without my hot water bottle. I only had a vague sense of what one even was before I moved to England, and then all the girls in the Neville's Cross house had them. (MC used to tuck hers up under her sweatshirt and take it to the library.) That house was always unbelievably cold, even later, in the middle ( Read more... )

I like how your hot water bottle means that all winter when you shift on the couch I hear sloshing and weird rubbery sounds. AWES.

I still can't get over how awesome TAL on TV looks! How did they do that.

Look, I have some medical issues, okay.

Why do I love TAL so much? It's so pretentious and bourgetarded and predictable and I DON'T EVEN CARE.

My mum still buys me a new hot water bottle every Christmas. Mum, I live in Texas now, remember?

Hee, MC sloshing along as we walked to the library. It's a pretty enduring image.

Heeee, that's adorable. And what does she think is happening to the old ones?

Her hot water bottle baby pregnancy! Hey, let's rewind time and relive that whole year.

Aah, you get 40 degree weather? Colour me jealous. It's deceptively sunny here, and then when you go outside it's freezing, and . . . I just resent it, damn it. Curse you and your wiles, Alaska. It was over 40 one day a few weeks ago, and I almost died from bliss. And then, of course, it never happened again.

dun dun DUN.

Well, it keeps being interspersed with 10 degree weather, so don't be *too* jealous. But doesn't 40 feel AMAZING, after it's been 20 below? Also dude, I didn't realize you lived in Alaska!

You people are nuts. MOVE TO CALIFORNIA. Though I guess if any state is likely to recognize a person/hot water bottle union, it's Massachusetts.

Heee, but if you don't have the awful weather, then how can you get retardedly excited about good weather?? It's an important system, see.

Heeee, Teddy Kennedy is our conservative politician.

Well, you still think it's awful weather, you're just deluded about how awful it really is. And I'm okay with that.

I got LADY senators, what do you think of THAT?

I can only concur, as it's going to be 64 degrees today and I'm wearing a sweatshirt and cringing at the thought of going outside.

This state is ruining me. New England might never take me back. Send snow plz?

We got over a foot of snow here last night. Going out to dinner involved stuck cars that needed to be pushed out of snowdrifts. GOOD TIMES.

Woo, music!

I think we're getting that snow in the morning! Maybe. Mmm, snowdrifts, how festive.
