Well, I've turned off LoudTwitter for the present moment. For one I was getting this weird LJ/Twitter 'echo' back and forth, to the point where I am quite certain that I'd be getting a post about a post about a post about a post etc, even if I didn't post on LJ or Twitter. And anyways, most everyone on LJ that I talk to often I'm already following ( Read more... )

family, politics, twitter, driving

I noticed the echo thing, lol, but I had no idea why it occurred. I'm not doing the LoudTwitter thing on my LJ, I find the fun goes out of it when I get a list of all the useless crap I spouted all day *giggle*.

It's because the twitter feed posts an hour after the LJ post goes up, and the LJ feed would see the twitter post at midnight, and the twitter feed would see that at 1 am ... so they'll just keep seeing each other into infinity, even if I haven't done anything. It's rather ridiculous, and I've just decided I liked my LJ better without, much for the reason you've just described. XD

Ohh, crap! Wow, yeah, that's a vicious cycle of doom.

Also, listening to The Decemberists for the first time in like, a year. Gah, missed this album in my life.

Definitely. It would never end. It would probably blow something up in the long run ... I could never responsibly let something like that continue. >.>;

Wooooo. What album? <3333

You know I still haven't learned how to drive a manual. Papa tried to teach me once in my young life and gave up. Now no one I know has a manual to teach me on anyway. :)

Ha! That's true of many people, I know. Problem is, my family drives a lot of ... older cars. Clunkers, if you will. And most of them are stick.

The problem comes because my sister's car just died, and the only car that's working that isn't standard is her dad's car. So if she has to go anywhere for any length of time, it becomes this huge juggling act - she takes his car, so he takes my mom's car, so I have to come over and take my mom places if she has to go anywhere and my other sister is screwed for transportation but that's the way it goes when you lose your driver's license like an idiot. Good times.

Yeah my fam is whacked. They give my little sister my mom's new car when she gets old enough. Then she wrecks it and they buy her another one that's just like her old one. PFT.
When my first car was a used, scratched up, Volkswagen with no working AC. GRRRRRRRRRRR

I just came across your LJ and have been reading threw some of your stuff. I think its cool, I do not have a LJ my self(I've been thinking of getting one)but I do Twitter. It seems we got a lot of stuff in common. And I saw u like to follow people on twitter so feel free to tweet me sometime. I am @A_LAH on twitter. Thanks, and I like the LJ.
