it's not so much that it's nashville pussy as that it's nashville pussy cds at my library. they're beneath my radar, but seeing those spines in the bins is funny.

I am now very curious about the medium--I have long been a fan of Amahl, as you may know. let me know if you see it, etc.

i went all the way out to hyde park and borrowed it today. unfortunately, one of the imdb reviews suggests that the original vhs transfer (and this one is from 1984 -- about as "original vhs" as you can get) is nearly unwatchable. i'm probably going to watch it on sunday eve. the fact that menotti himself directed the film on the stage where it was initially performed makes me very curious.

yes. normally i'd ask them to get it for me, but as it turns out i was in that neck of the woods today anyway, so...
