I blame time flies, nasty little insects they are.
As far as other ships, I have started collecting the HMS Hood, going to wait till the HMB Endeavour and HMS Victory are done 1st before I start building her, think I said that about the HMS Victory as well.
From the past I have the Bismarck (1/200 scale - started 2007), Bluenose - 1920s fishing schooner (1/100 scale - started 2008) and the Yamato (1/350 scale plastic - started 2009).
The problem with plastic models, is the fumes from the glue, I can only stand it for a short time, even in a well ventilated area.
Possible ships for the future are the Santísima Trinidad, HMS Vanguard, HMS Pegasus, Corsair, HMS Bounty and last but not least Mercury, (Russian).
Would love to see your sizable fully sailing model if you manage to build her. I assume radio control would be used ?
I will be in England in December and hope to go on board the Cutty Sark. :)
I'll be in England from the 17th December to the 28th December, but at the moment, not totally sure where. I might be in either Manchester or Northampton for Christmas. Flying to Ireland on the 28 December.
Thee only fixed date in that is the 17th December other dates may change at anytime without warning.

Life has a habit of absorbing 110% of the available time whenever it gets the chance.
I see that you currently have at least 2 builds on the go. Are there others we don't see?
Yesterday I went to see the Cutty Sark.

I'm getting ideas that I don't really have time to action at the moment, namely a sizable fully sailing model .....
