Why, yes, it is hot in here

Although better than yesterday, where we apparently went over 100 degrees here at 3000 feet. Grrr. However, many good things in the last week, so a little wilty heat shouldn't slow me down, right?

I had an amusing time at the BPAL Will-Call last Saturday (using a visit to the Aged P as justification for an unnecessary drive into the LA basin).  ( Read more... )

Hey, chickie! When do you leave for ComicCon? I have to get Kerouac!Xander on the move, and I'm not sure if he has time for a visit elsewhere before he comes to you.

Logistics, holy cow, are my bane.

We'll likely drive down on July 22 or 23, so if he gets here by Saturday the 21st, we'll be in good shape (and if he's having too much fun at his other visits, I could always take some pictures at the Con and then PhotoShop him into place...but I guess that would be cheating!)

Logistics are quite tarsome, to quote Lucia's Georgie.

Heat! Ack! [pours you some of the lovely Red Zinger iced tea I just brewed]

But hurrah for LA visits, the Aged P, kayaking with B, and good reading.

[hugs hugs]

Ooh, iced tea..yesss! (offers you a chilled mug of Earl Grey in return)

I was just telling rainkatt that I had a dream this morning in which met you and then she appeared, all fortuitously and without plan. It was very pleasant.

Hee! I promise to provide iced tea -- or champagne! -- in all future dream-meetings, too. :-))

it was a treat, but very cramped quarters. i got there almost an hour early due to fear of getting lost (so of course, this time I didn't) And there were still people in front of me, although I ended up 5th in line, so when I handed in my bag of clothes for the shelter, I received one of the baggies with the imp of Delousing Powder and a sample of the new Bordello soap. the room was tiny, painted black and lined with displays of all the currently available bottles, as well a coffin display of older limited editions behind the counter where we could gawk but not touch ( ... )
