Bad Joke Day
Not a big deal.
So, a colleague told a dirty joke at lunch. Concerning the food we ate at the time. I knew the joke, it's an old one. Not funny and not well told. So why did I work myself up? I didn't say a thing. But the rudeness has me still unsettled.

The book that never ends.

Keeping tabs on the people who count.
It have been two troubled weeks. One friend has been admitted to the psychiatric ward. The baby-boy of another friend has been diagnosed with Down-Syndrom. And now the father of a friend, who called us "extended family" may have or may not have a tumor in his lung. Our own health problem (the teeth of horror!) are dwarfed against this. Ready to start writing? Way no.....
But you have to start somewhere. And since I want to learn how to write (some prose, that is), the answer should be: of course, I'm ready to start. Not sure what my topics will be here, but since I found livejournal while reading fanfiction, this will surely be one. And writing. Home-making. The Kid. Time. And such.
