Ouch
I decided last week (or so) to go for my Actuarial Exams again (thank you xkcd). This time I'll be taking the Financial Math test first (rather than the probability exam - which I attempted before). Unfortunately, my timing sucks, as the test is only offered twice a year, and the fall test is this week. Yeah. Needless to say, I have plenty of ( Read more... ) -

Puppies!
So my sister decided to visit Rochester last weekend, and take along her family. Which, for the uninitiated, is Brandon (her hubby), along with Smokey and Ed (her two new puppies). Therefore, I had no other option left to me, it's time to see my "neph-pups!"

Waffles! My mom gave me her fantabulous recipe for waffles, and I decided to treat myself for breakfast.

Conversely, I'll be more than happy to make them again when people visit, as it's pretty easy (and yummy).
In whatever case, it's a great way to start a day, even better for a Friday. -

I really hope this is released stateside. Yes, it is a real functioning cellphone. I could have my own buddy braver ala Ketai Souskan 7! Who wouldn't?
01 (the black cellphone) is sleeker, but Seven (the grey one) is not menacing OR evil.

The good news - we once again have a third roommate. She actually was around for about an hour and a half when she saw the place talking with us. Seems to be very cool, and would fit right in this crazy fun house.
The bad news - no response from the interview yet.
The "meh" news - no rejection letter from that interview.
