Another weekend spent on the house, making it even more of a pigsty. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to cope with living in these conditions. It's not just that it's untidy, it's dirty too. Still, I think we may have finally crested the project.

I'm really a summer person. By that I mean summer is my favourite time of year. I would much rather be too warm than too cold, most of my health issues get much better in summer, and the growing and the greenery and the living is easy.

I'm seeing a pattern from last year. Start the soil in July, plant seedlings in August, then you're stuck. So deal with front garden while waiting for the weather to allow seedlings to go in. Huh. That works!

gorgeous weather again today, following a very cold night. I put a blanket over the potatoes last night, which I think helped. This morning the mission was to start tidying up in the front garden.
