I wonder at which point things changed this much.

The economy is... well, not that great right now.  With all the talk about bank and auto industry bailouts, I found this quote especially striking:

"The question in my mind is this: At a time when we're continuing the bailout of key industries, at what point do we have a bailout of public education?"

Life is just complicated.

My life is consumed by 29 4-year-olds and I currently enjoy it.  :)  I have one kid who isn't potty trained, one who sucks her thumb, one who is afraid of assemblies (also the thumb sucker), one who has cried everyday this week (it was his first week, so he gets some slack), one who calls people "dude," 28 who can't tie shoes, at least 6 who don't ( Read more... )

Today Brian bought a WiiFit.  So cool!  However it made my Mii look like a stick, which I was not too happy about, but I cannot control that aspect of the game (where it uses your height, weight, and BMI to alter the look of your Mii).  The "games" were pretty fun after we both sucked the first time through.  Even though it tells you what to do, ( Read more... )

I can officially say, as of this afternoon, that I have a new job!  Yay!  I will be teaching preschool (4 year olds) at a standard calendar school about 10 minutes away from Brian's house.  Hopefully this is the start of great things!
