Mmm...dried cranberries are delicious! And the stir-fry noodles look tasty as well. :)

I just had a Ghirardelli dark chocolate square a few minutes ago, so I smiled when I saw this picture. X)

The rice noodles looks delicious!

Thank you! And Ghirardelli is so yummy. Someone commented in another community that they use flour to dust their conveyor belts though, so I may not be able to pack them for the hubs anymore. I can't find anything about it on the internet - argh!

Even if they don't dust the conveyor belts with wheat flour, there may be cross contamination. Most chocolates in the US list on the wrapper that they may contain traces of nuts, wheat, and dairy, even if the variety wouldn't contain any of those in the ingredients list. The machines for production and wrapping are close together and used for more than one variety, so cross contamination happens.

Well, now that the hubs has been moved to a gluten free AND yeast free diet, there'll be no chocolate or sweets of any sort. At least for a little while! :/

That looks so delish! But really the reason I wanted to comment was because Amazon is selling groceries in bulk these days and I was browsing and noticed Gluten Free items. So check it out!

I saw that too! Very exciting, although most of the items that I am interested in need to be bought in bulk (but at substantial savings). I just have to figure out what we like before doing some shopping. ;)

are you still going gluten free?

Yes....why? Did I inadvertently gluten the hubs? O.O

doh! possibly - the cookies may have been made with white flour, which has gluten in it.

being gluten free is SO HARD because of the things you don't think about... the breading on anything fried, cookies, tortillas, SOY SAUCE even... they all potentially have gluten in them. when I first found out about soy sauce, I was shocked! I switched to tamari though, which I like just as much.

I seriously have to check the ingredients in everything, because literally nothing is safe, *especially* baked goods. it's a huge lifestyle change, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier.

Oh phew! You had me worried for a minute. These are the Mi-Del gluten-free mini pecan cookies. They're pretty decent, but nowhere near as good as the Pamela's chocolate chunk cookies!

I think tamari tastes better than soy sauce. :) Just a pain that soy has wheat because many ready-made sauces like teriyaki contain soy sauce. One of the commenters in another forum said that Ghirardelli uses flour on their conveyor belts!
