I did - and it is pretty good! :) I would love to make sushi with raw fish, but that would not be good for a bento. Unless I wanted to boot for the rest of the day. :P

Looks so good and yes, what better way to have a snack! ;) Wow, did you get this all rolled and packed within 30 minutes? If so, you really got your roll on--it takes me a good 15 just to get prepped when I make sushi!

Oh heck no. Sushi is definitely time consuming. I got up earlier than usual today and prepped all the ingredients while the rice was cooking. I meant to prep the ingredients last night, but I didn't have enough time. This took me an hour all told, not including the time I spent trying to shove the sushi in different configurations into the bento boxes to make everything fit. :P

goodness, that looks so good. i have to ask...your tamago looks so perfect. how many tries did it take you to get it just right? i tried to make some for the first time the other night and i had to make 2 since the first one was just unedible. i had problems with that first roll.

Just one! The time before I had to throw away the first layer because the heat was too high. What happened to your first one?

i couldn't get it to roll right and even though i was using a nonstick pan (used just to make them, go figure) it stuck just enough that i wound up making a mess. my pug liked it though. my second attempt was a little better but i think it's because i added a little oil this time around. i still needed to work on my rolling.
after seeing this post last night i made another attempt and i'm happy to say that it worked out a whole lot better then the first two. the only problem i saw is that i don't think i let the egg cook long enough before rolling it. it was a little too soft when i ate it this morning.
