This is true...and the food tonight will be iffy, so it's good that I ate a big snack. If I remember right, last year they had stale sushi as appetizers. Yum... :P

Yes! Yuzu is kind of like a miniature grapefruit. It's bitter, but tastes great in sauces and desserts. Mmm. =9 I like the name (and the fruit), and it eventually became a nickname my friends call me. =D

It was good! I can't tell the difference though, other than this method results in a less sticky spam slice, I think since the sauce doesn't caramelize in the pan. Makes for a neater looking musubi.

Use that sushi mat! :D And post to bentolunch!

yeah i think it tastes the same... but i like the thought of crisping the spam before soaking it in the sauce. hehe. even though it gets un-crisp in the sauce! lol.

i don't think mine are good enough for bentolunch! hehe
