Only a little - if you don't like spicy, just lessen the chili sauce in the mayo. It will still taste good if you leave it out completely. ;)

Thank you! :) I was thinking that the mini burgers would make great appetizers. Just stick a pick in them to hold them together. Yum!

Ok. Now I feel all bad because these are fried not baked. :P But I bet they could be baked no problem. ;)

Mini pita breads as hamburger buns - that's genius! They are soooo cute! I'm lovin' the new bento box, Munkaya. I saw that one online and was thinking of getting it. It's pretty small, huh? I like small things, though. :D

Thank you! And the smallness is nice. It was the perfect size for this meal. I really have to stop buying bento boxes. My bento drawer is really, really full.

I know what you mean. My mom told me I need a section of the kitchen designated solely for bento-box storage. ◕ ‿ ◕

I'm beginning to have a problem too! I've only been bento-ing for about a week and I already have a ton of accessories, a mini bento, 3 bento boxes and one more on the way!

Hello! Yet another great-yummy-looking bento! I have a question though, and this may be an odd question but me being Asian and very much rice-dependent. I was wondering what type of rice did you use up there? It's just that the grains looks bigger than usual (or it could be the pic), and the rice doesn't look sticky.

Do you intentionally use different types of rice for certain bentos? Or do you just use what's available. Because I love rice with an almost sticky composition, however I find that when packing it for decorative lunch, it doesn't come out aesthetically pleasing. Just wondering :)

Not an odd question at all. :) The kung pao chicken dinner from Trader Joe's actually came with rice, so I used that. It definitely is less sticky and not like my usual - normally I use short-grain rice. Sometimes I will use jasmine rice if it is for a non-Japanese Asian meal, but usually I use short-grain/sushi rice.
