I feel silly asking but is the shrimp in the recipe supposed to be raw or cooked?
If it's raw, do I need to worry that it's sitting in the fridge overnight?

The shrimp should be raw, and don't worry about the raw shrimp in the fridge overnight. You can keep raw shrimp in the fridge for at least 2-3 days with no problem. If you can't make them for a while, then I'd say freeze the patties and thaw them on the day you plan to make the burgers.

I don't mind! And I think my husband's bento also was $15 from Nagomi. I linked to the store in my links list, and I think they still have some in stock. The bad thing is the shipping, which for mine was $10 and his was $14...and I bought a furoshiki with some amount of shipping too. The seller gave me discounted shipping for everything -- $23 for EMS I think (I received it in 3 days!), so that's where you get hit in the wallet.

My hubs' is dark blue. There is a black guy's one out there, but I remember it had something preposterous written on it that no guy would ever be caught dead with -- I think it had "pleasure" in it. :D
