i hope Lindsay Lohan is the next celebrity that Kim Gordon (and by extension, the rest of Sonic Youth) gets obsessed with.
first Karen Carpenter, then Mariah Carey... Lindsay Lohan should totally be next. the pattern fits: a tragic/fucked up young celebrity who fell apart very publically, very visibly.
