well, here it goes: an attempt at fiction by a non-fiction writer.

a query letter and two drafts later, my hamish kippen story got published. i get my cheque tomorrow! it's available in print today.

I actually really enjoy the critical issues in journalism course I am forced to take, despite leaving the class all heated and sweaty and angry.
