julie_izumi: Love the crops and lighting of your set so much! I haven't watched The 100 but it looks quite fitting. My favourites are 'Demons' and 'On Top of the World' because of the amazing bright colours and text use! <3

marcasite: Your set is so beautifully atmospheric and fits Doctor Who series 8 perfectly! <3 Love the compositions of the first two, the crop, colouring and border text of 4, and the far crop of the last one. Great job!

WONDEROUS-STUFF

_puchula_: Love the negative space of 2 and 3, and the text in 2 is incredible! 1 is so beautiful with the yellow/red/blue colouring and the wonderful texture use!

absolutelybatty: Your usual brand of 'everything is so pretty'! The Anna icon is so lovely but I especially love the vintagey colours of 1 and 4, it works so well with the caps, and the composition/text of 1 is priceless. Also snagging the Community ones right now - the background of the Abed icon is so, well, cool and the 'Sangria' Jeff one is the best!

burntheflaws: There are so, so beautiful! In awe of your texture use, contrast and text, as always. You pull of highly contrasted and matte icons equally well, which is amazing. Love all four icons but 1 and 3 stand out with their colourings!

raiindust: A rainbow?! It is a rainbow, right? Are you even real?! Long Island Iced Tea is definitely my favourite because the composition is flawless, but all the amazing colourful negative space is wow. I have so many favourites but 7, 9, 11, 12 and 14 stand out!

deternot: Your lighting and contrast are mesmerising as always! Especially love the colour scheme of 'Damaged', the shadows of 'Ellison', the negative space of 'Empty' and the gorgeous crop and warm tones of 'Reveal'!

youwatchusrun: Your soft warm colours are always beautiful! 'Unusual' is so creative and fun, the soft pink and flowery background is all kinds of lovely, the darker lighting of Umber fits Alice so well and I love the colours of 17 and 18 so much!

john_scorpy: Love the lighting of this set so much! The crop of 'Profile' is flawless, I love the simple but efficient colouring of 'Negative Space', the chiaroscuro of 'Harvey' and most of all the colour schemes and compositions of 'Rex+Ranger' and 'Yellow Text'!!

applepips16: Everything is so bright and lovely! The crop and colouring of 5 are fantastic with the overall vintage-y softness but the reds of her lips standing out. And 1 is so beautifully lit and the vibrancy is spot on!

Thank you so much!! I loved this activity and am glad you liked those icons. glad you mentioned lighting since the one thing I noticed about all the three magic makers I was inspired by is that all of them use gorgeous prominent lighting which is a thing that is not really a part of my style at all, so... time to go out of my comfort zone :)

APPLAUSE FOR THESE AMAZING COMMENTS BTW. it would take me like three hours to write a thing like that so I think I'll just pick favorite icons, but seriously, you are beyond amazing for doing this!

First of all I want to thank you for this battle because it was a great chance for me to come back and make icons after a looooong hiatus. It was inspiring, challenging and fun and it helped me remember why I loved iconning so much in the past. And it persuaded me once again that no matter how stunning Tumblr edits can be, they will never match the wizardry that goes into making icons.

That being said, off I go picking favourites! C:
