!MMCBATTLE BIG ICON POST 2014/2015

This is the story of the multimakers comms who reunited for the first time in history, only to bring back inspiration for themselves and their fellow makers, and have fun making icons.
We had a plan, we had an idea and finally WE HAVE A BIG POST FULL OF ICONS!

julie_izumi: Love the crops and lighting of your set so much! I haven't watched The 100 but it looks quite fitting. My favourites are 'Demons' and 'On Top of the World' because of the amazing bright colours and text use! <3

marcasite: Your set is so beautifully atmospheric and fits Doctor Who series 8 perfectly! <3 Love the compositions of the first two, the crop, colouring and border text of 4, and the far crop of the last one. Great job!

reebeecaa: All the blue and purple tones! Your set works perfectly with the album imo. Your lighting is beautiful and your texture use is flawless as always. I'm in love with 'Money Power Glory' and 'Is This Happiness'. <3

WELL DONE TEAM. We didn't have it easy with this activity and I think we were amazing :D

naive_astronaut: I tend to love everything you make, so my appreciation of these comes as no surprise. Your composition skills really shine in 2 with the clever little hints of blue in Clara's hair - so pretty!

second_love: Pretty colours! Especially love 2 and 4 of the first palettes, but your colouring and lighting work on all of these is amazing.

starkwars: Forever loving your texture use and backgrounds. Definitely snagging that Tenth Doctor icon, and the crop and lighting on the fifth one are captivating!

kitamikeita: Your work on the red/pink colours of the second palette is astonishing! Love the work on lights and shadows of the Abed icon so much!

shameless666: Your solid backgrounds are really cool as always, and yay for so much hairporn! Love the Clara icon!!

wolfatmidnight: I really love 2 with the projected shadow and text, such a great icon! The background of 5 is also great and the second and third alternates are fantastic!

justmyb0nes: You're so great with far crops! I love the colouring of the Creative Arts icon and the composition of the PE icon!

gallicka: Wow, complexity everywhere! It's hard to pick favourites but Languages and Science stand out with amazing compositions and colourings!

realproof: I love your Industial Arts and Languages icons! Your work on lighting and textures is really great.

yachiru: That Twelve icon is so much fun!! Love your use of negative space, and the textures are very pretty!

petite_tomate: *jaw drops* Was Not Expecting This. These are so amazing??? Your complex icons and text and composition skills and COLOURS? Brb saving everything because I can't pick favourites. (The Kill the Moon and orange Joan icons though!!)

dashberlin: I always loved your glowy lighting and crops so much, and these are no exception. Particularly love 1 and 4!!

pamkips: I love 3 so much!! Light yellow/greens are the worst and you always manage to make them the best, how??? The usual love for your background skills and your colours and yay, textures!!

katy_111: Your lighting is fantastic!! Also the composition and text in 4 are so good!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this! :D You're so sweet, I'm really happy you like my icons, god knows I've struggled with them XD But it seems Doctor Who just makes the inspiration JUMP! The orange of their costume in Kill the Moon is AWESOME to icon! (i'm so happy to you using it btw, aaw!)

Congrats for your icons too because A) making icons for an album is NOT easy at all B) everything is so colorful and happy I love it C) YOUR COMPOSITION OKAY! ♥♥
