It's 5AM in the bloody morning but I promised I'd post this DA fic today, so here it is! (though, technically it's tomorrow) It's longer than I'd planned, slightly more plot-y than I planned, but it's my first ever delve in the Dark Angel fandom so I wanted to experiment with voice and character a bit. AWP - love that! Truly a great new category :D

I admit I haven't read too many DA fanfics, maybe just 3 or 4 of them. But I'm gonna say, this was the best of the ones I've read. I still don't know all that much about the DA fandom, since I've still only seen 3 episodes, haven't had the time to watch any more. Any free-time I get, I use to watch anime or read manga that I need to catch up on. I do know about White though - and you definitely captured his sadistic self perfectly. And you already know how good you are with the snark - since Alec and Dean are the same in that way :D

Wow only three eps?? Skip over all of S1 and head straight into S2 when (or, perhaps 'if' is a better word)you want a break from anime. Alec is a fangirl's dream =D

Oh, I did skip all of Season 1 ... I only downloaded Season 2 =D The few episodes I did see, well, I wasn't a fan of the show really, but Jensen made it watchable. Definitely love Alec! :D

Great. Never risk to read something DA thought it was silly. But I enjoy your SN fics and read DA one. And now afraid to read other DA fics just more 'cause it's not yours. Will you write another one, please?

Whoa. So, when you said an Alec angst fic, I was thinking that it was going to be this plotless little ficlet of Alec angsting over some situation. But this one has plot!

Like everybody else has already said, you've got their voices down. I've been watching DA DVDs for the past two weeks (yes, yes, an episode a night), so everything about the show is really fresh in my mind, and this is it. You've done a wonderful job. It reads just like an episode. If I had more hands, I'd give you more than two thumbs up because you deserve more than just two.

Yay! Thank you so much! I haven't seen the show for a while, so I had to make an effort not to accidentally write a transgenic version of Dean, so Im phew-ing that you guys thought I pulled it off. I'm so writing more, the DA world is loads of fun =D
