I was quite late for work today. I (stupidly) stayed up late last night reading, and forgot to set my alarm. I had meant to come in early, too, but ended up only a half hour late, thanks to light traffic and chronic speeding. Also, I almost got ran off the road by some stupid SUV, but the nice Toyota behind me saved me from a scratched up car.

I am sorry to hear about your cat -- I remember Flora, she was nice, and getting eaten is no good for anybody -- but happy to hear about your birthday party. It sounds awesome. I really wish I could be there.
