I was quite late for work today. I (stupidly) stayed up late last night reading, and forgot to set my alarm. I had meant to come in early, too, but ended up only a half hour late, thanks to light traffic and chronic speeding. Also, I almost got ran off the road by some stupid SUV, but the nice Toyota behind me saved me from a scratched up car. Luckily my boss is out of the country, as he disapproves of such lateness.
Speaking of work, I'm updating the information in one of my bosses books, and am looking for good internet statistics. I'd prefer to make them up, but right now my job consists of looking at statistics all day, hence this post.
Ooh, this weekend is my birthday extravaganza! I'll be running around the (Twin) Cities on Saturday, doing fun things like going to the science museum, the sculpture garden, and eating delicous food. I'll be 24. I feel a bit stuck, in an internship making very little money, living at home. I want a real job with a living wage, and an apartment and a car. Also, enough money to buy food and do fun things, all in a month.
Plus, we are getting another new cat to replace Flora, our adorable kitten who was probably eaten by a coyote recently. Poor Bigfoot, the other cat is lonely. The new cat is a grey tabby, and loves people, according to Clare. Who has good name suggestions? My dad, ever the clever one, suggested the Kitty formerly known as Prints(get it? Plus, Prince is from Minnesota). That would never work, because we would just end up calling him Prints. Besides, I think it's a stupid name.
