Sad news - The giant fuzzy black caterpillar didn’t make it. He was in exactly the same position on Sunday and showed no signs of creating a cocoon, so I went outside to look closely and check on him and he was definitely not alive. Poor little big guy! I wish I'd put them on my queue next to each other so that they'd arrive at the same time. I think I may bump the Japanese version up so that I can see it sooner. It was the one I originally saw trailers for, and those trailers made me want to see it, very badly. They look better than the trailers for the American version, and IMO the story and character motivations make more sense set in Japan than they do in the U.S. I had just a teeny bit of trouble buying that any American would be embarrassed that they were taking ballroom dancing lessons, but then that may be partly the result of Dancing with the Stars' success, and I believe the American version of the movie came out before that show started airing -- but I'm not positive about that.

Fortunately the wank comms are instituting anti-spoiler measures, but lol_meme is now a designated spoiler zone, so I can't go there until after the 21st. Despite my best efforts, I have gotten spoilered for a few things, but most of them were things I knew were going to happen anyway.

Less than a week to go!!

I would make a note to avoid lol_meme, but I'm so spoiled by the Cornfield now that it doesn't matter, and I don't have it on my flist over on JF, anyway. I cannot resist a link! Woe! But most of them were things I felt certain were going to happen, as well. And I am at the point that I expect spoilers to be tucked in among the lettuce heads and taped to the plastic on loaves of bread when I go to the grocery store Thursday evening. They are almost everywhere now! We need some really good, explosive, non-HP wank to distract everyone from the spoilers.

Yes! Yay!!! Less than a week!
