It's a beautiful weekend. Friday night, a crowd of us decided to go very traditional, and went out for fish fry. Real fish fry - battered perch, potato pancakes, applesauce - no french fries. And the band played polka! Very fun, and very Wisconsin. Laurie, who moved out a year ago from California for grad school, still watches people polka

I'm loving the weather, too - so nice to finally have it feel great to be outside.

I've, um, lived near Madison my entire life and have never been to the Farmer's Market. I'm afraid if I openly admit that though, someone will take away my citizenship or something! :-)

Going to the Union Terrace for ice cream Monday afternoon, though (another Madison must-do). I hope the weather stays gorgeous for that.

I used to work about two block away from Babcock Hall. At least once a month the entire fiscal department decided it was just too beautiful to stay inside and we'd all walk down to get ice cream cones. ::Sigh:: I miss working on campus.

The snow we had a couple of weeks ago is finally gone - but we had a heck of rainstorm last night. Not much thunder and lightening but lots and lots of wind!
