Wednesday Morning in Seattle

I feel like I haven't posted in a long time. I have, but there hasn't been much of the substance of my life here for a while. I should get to that, but time has been a precious commodity lately. So, instead, a few points ( Read more... )

*HUGS* Congrats on the new job!

Also, it's not just the Seattle bus drivers. MOST people can't drive in the rain here. O_o

I haven't posted in a while either - it happens ;) And I'm a whole 100 words into NaNo - it just hasn't been flowing at all. Or fitting into the schedule. AND! I'm also struggling so much with winter these last few weeks. I got spoiled last winter, when every time it rained I just thought of all the new snow and it made me happy. Now I'm just lazy and cranky and I don't want to go anywhere, and I'm tired of being soggy.all.the.damn.time.

Oh, by the way ... any interest in donating a little physics help? I'm struggling with one stinking concept that's making my life a bit more miserable ...

I forgot to share my good news with you! Guess what!

OK, I was all set to help with the physics until that bit of scariness showed up on my computer! People, just put a sweater over that, please!

No, really, I'm all for helping out, if I can.

I think part of the reason my novel is going so well is because I'm writing about a woman who gets all socially isolated, especially during the winter. It's like journal-writing!

Hee hee! I know, I'm a terrible person. I just couldn't help it! If it makes you feel better, that's as close to a picture of my pregnant belly as you'll ever get. Unless you count my belly after a big dinner, which does occasionally look a bit on the preggers side. :)

I think my novel is going so poorly because it's supposed to be about a woman becoming socially connected in the last way she'd ever expected, and about creating your own community and relationships. Hah! I shoulda known better ... it is so NOT like journal writing. :)

Are you around this weekend? If so, I'll totally steal a moment or two of your time. *smooches you*
