No you aren't the only one. It's impossible for me to say that to my dad anymore. The only person I can say those words too with any kind of ease is my mother and grandmother. Anyone else...I trip on the words. I have intimacy and trust issues....I know this and it's one of the main reasons I stay out of relationships. In a nutshell...I feel you. If you ever need to rant about this more, I'm up for listening since I can relate to the issues you're having.
