Sometimes in life, we look back on things we're proud we accomplished.  Other times, we surprise ourselves when we push ourselves forward, and do things we didn't know we could.  But, it is a rare day we get to do both.

Today was that type of day for me.  It might not be life-altering, but it makes me smile just the same.

Today I went over to the ( Read more... )

The important questions are being:
1) How many times did you hit the ice?
2) How many times did you hit the wall?
3) Why do the synchronized skaters wait to miss noon skates until the day I don't get to sleep until after 7:30 in the morning?

Well done on the 10-lapper.

None. Aren't you shocked?

2) How many times did you hit the wall?
Once. It was a satisfying thud.

3) Why do the synchronized skaters wait to miss noon skates until the day I don't get to sleep until after 7:30 in the morning?
They knew you wouldn't be there. They only come to see you. They like you, you know.

Well done on the 10-lapper.
Thank you much.

Thanks. I know you're not a fan of ice skating yourself, but I appreciate the encouragement. :)

I totally know what you mean! I had a similar experience the past couple of weeks practicing piano for that wedding. Little improvements each day added up to a great performance. I mean... I guess that's similar to what you said. I'm tired.

Congrats on your accomplishments! Enjoy them and keep up the good work!!

I saw your post about the piano performance. Even with having to change song unexpectedly, you did a great job. It is those kind of events that help you really appreciate the work you put in to get there.

Good job to you too!
