So... the word's out that you should be careful walking alone at night around Shinjuku. Sensible advice anyway,  but there was an assault in san-chome last weekend.

Considering many of us work late at night and that some of us may also frequently walk home via the night-life areas, I thought it worth mentioning.

From what I heard it was a group of three men; beat up some poor person leaving one of the bars near there, but it wasn't personal. Or at least, it's suspected that the assailants didn't actually know their victim.

Well, I wouldn't tell them outright, we don't want to scare our Princesses after they've had a nice fun night with us, but do encourage them to take a taxi or get picked up rather than simply walk.
