It is perhaps somewhat misleading to refer to a process that takes five weeks to bang out a synopsis as “going great guns”, but given the workloads Fred and I are under (granted, most of mine’s self-imposed at this point, but nevermind that), I really think the storyline development for ElectriCity is going great guns.

Signed copies from you, Fred, and the artist, along with a personal dedication? Even as someone who's known you for ages, I definitely still get a little squee whenever you personalize one of your books for me. An unpersonalized signature, with the idea that these Will Be Worth Money to collectors down the road?
I've a platinum copy of "Death, the High Cost of Living" that Gaiman signed in silver sharpie and put a highlight dot in her eye--J and I bought it on our honeymoon some, uh, 14 years ago. I've looked for it online in the last couple of years to find an equivalent value for it, and I can't. It's in great shape and is a definite collector's item.
