Hope you don't mind a technical question, but how do you mark section breaks in your manuscripts? I've been doing double/double spaces, but sometimes those get lost between pages.

Thanks!

With a carriage return on either side of a centered # or * * *. So it'll be:

Skirts swirling, laughter on her lips, Margrit put care and politics aside, and gave herself up to the joy of dancing.

#

He had only seen her dance once before.

More or less, anyway; HTML doesn't do doublespacing nicely. But either hash marks or asterisks are pretty standard for doing that, and it's critical for page breaks, yeah. :)

Don't tell anybody that... bigbananaslug January 4 2007, 13:17:07 UTC
If you tell anybody that the writing job doesn't suck, they might not pay us all as much...(evil grin)...just like people who work in Hawaii have to pay the Paradise tax...salaries are much lower there than on the mainland.

I will NEVER tell my publisher that I'd write for free, I will NEVER tell my publisher that I'd write for free...

Happy new year!
